Hi all, can anyone help? I have the virgin branded wireless router the one they sell you its the netgear wgr614 on netgears website there is an updated firmware version for it but cant update the router it just fails everytime I try, do they disable this feature on the vm ones?
Services: Virgin for TV and Internet, BT for phone

You won't be able to install standard Netgear firmware on it without hacking it. You'll need to look on Virgin's support pages to see if they have updated the firmware,
