Re: Linksys WRT300N upgrade from WRT54G?

Did it last night (flashed to the DD_WRT firmware V23 mini_generic) all seems fine :o)
I spent about half an hour going through the millions of great settings now available.
There seems to be some improvement but I haven't taken much off default apart from some port forwarding and MAC access list (bad I know - but WEP etc. can cause some problems - just hope there are no mac cloner's or packet sniffers in the neighbourhood!)
Any tips for good performance for a 4MB Blueyonder connection on a WRT54G v2.0?
I did wonder about overclocking to 300Mhz...?
I'll try changing the port time out settings etc...is 90 seconds for TCP and UDP a good idea? We don't use any IM progs, but use Bittorrent and Emule a lot...would it cause problems with port forwarding going in from outside to port 80 (my webcam) and 21 (my FTP server)?
