Now getting fake bombs and threats thrown at you isn't acceptable but lets not kid ourself on its purely down to poor Lennon being oppressed for his faith.
No Kevin, any journalist with half a brain would no that 'Not Guilty' and 'Not proven' verdicts are announced every day in Scotland. Maybe if the PF wasn't hell bent on trying to prove there was a sectarian angle to the assault then he would have got a conviction.
In fact IIRC the attacker was happy to plead guilty to assaulting Lennon purely on the fact of his hatred for him but that hatred had nothing to do with religion.
Pushing McCoist and having to be held back from assaulting him isn't violent. Right you are Kevin.
Thats where the real action is. Forget the kiddie on 'premiership' nonsense with the winners already crowned. Next season in the championship is shaping up to be a cracker.

Hibs took a dive.
They know that way they will get at least 4 sell outs next year as opposed to middling crowds in the 'booming' SPFL. The only league in the world that has to pay broadcasters to cover games.

I truly hope your have a more realistic grip on reality in your profession than you continue to have in this thread.

Re: The Scottish Football Thread
I think the scottish championship will be more interesting (I will keep an eye on the results), but would i pay to watch it...no. Though to be fair, I wouldn't pay for the scottish premiership either

Nice to see Hamilton up in the Prem. Hoping they can survive next season, and as someone said on the Mail site, the Championship will be more interesting to watch than the Premier League.

Re: The Scottish Football Thread
Yes, thanks Celtic for donating some points to the minnows. Come on other Prem teams, make a decent challenge at the top. If Celtic win the league, at least make it a bit closer this year instead of having it decided by Christmas.

I wouldn't count on it. New Douglas Park can throw up some unexpected results on occasion

Armageddon continues:

"THE exact numbers for last season are being kept under wraps for the moment, but are believed to be almost twice as high as the final campaign before the SPL merged with the SFL."

Well they got themselves into this fine mess so now they can get themselves out of it if they know how.
