Been using some homeplugs for a couple of weeks now, but seem to notice that the signal deteriates to a very poor level in the evenings to around 1 to 8mbps making the internet very slow and laggy, my house is about 100 years old with quite old wiring, but i usually get about 20-30mbps max out of a possible 85mbps which is acceptable. What could be causing this? They are not plugged into any extension cables just direct wall sockets.

Re: Homeplug problem
Another possibility is that somebody has got a television or other appliance that's only switched on in the evening and is feeding electrical crap back into the mains.
