Problem with DIR-615 & ICS.

Before i start to explain my problem i will describe how my network is setup to make it easier:

I have a VM 50mb modem connected to the D-Link DIR-615 router that was supplied. This is all downstairs. In my room i use the D-Link DWA-140 RangeBooster N USB Adapter to connect. I get a very good signal (normally 90+%) and full speeds. I use the ethernet port on my laptop to connect to my Xbox using ICS for Xbox Live.

When i was on 20mb using a DIR-301 D-link router worked fine for my current setup using ICS (although i was using the internal Atheros WiFi adapter to connect, which i have tried with the DIR-615 and was still not working). Also i have tryed DMZ, port forwarding and UPnP, but still no luck.

My routers IP Address is 192.168.1.1.

When i enable ICS my ethernet adapter gets assigned a static IP of 192.168.0.1.

I have assigned my xbox static ip's and tryed automatically getting ip settings but it still says it cant connect to a network.

any suggestions?

Oh and if this helps my OS is Vista.

Thanks in advance.
