Opening ports on the ZyXEL NBG334W

I've looked online for help with this, but I can't find anything useful. Basically I wanna open some ports that the PS3 needs open so that I get more out of my connection. I do the connection test and it says I'm only getting 4.6Mb. People online are saying go to the gaming tab but my router doesn't have one. I've also been on the UPnP page of the router but that's no good.

Thanks,

Craig

Re: Opening ports on the ZyXEL NBG334W

"Opening Ports" or "Port Forwarding" shouldn't make a blind bit of difference as all connection requests go out from the PS3 so traverse the NAT Firewall fine?

So there's no point actually opening these ports?

Re: Opening ports on the ZyXEL NBG334W

those ports are already "open" as in, your PS3 can access them yes. You have a Firewall in between the PS3 and the Internet and you are limited by that only. As I said it SHOULDN'T make any difference.
