help,im angry now!
i have just set up my belkin f5d7230-4 wireless router & my laptop is connecting but everytime i click internet explorer it is just bringing up page cannot be displayed? my laptop is a dell inspiron 6000 with xp.

1) Do you connect via SACM (stand-alone cable modem) or STB (set-top box)?
2) Try:-
Power everything off
Power on modem (or STB)
Wait for lights to settle
Power on router
Wait for lights to settle
Power on PC
Should be job done. If you are on an STB, you will either need to clone your MAC address (a router option), or register the router with NTL.

OK... Didn't see that,,
andy, have you checked everything on your PC is set to automatic?
To do this, go to "Control Panel", "Network Connections". Right click on the relevant connection (should be called "Local Area Connection" or similar). Now, select "Properties", click "Internet Protocol TCP/IP" and click "properties".
Now, make sure that both "Obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically" are selected and click OK. Then click "OK" again.
