Xp and vista

I am getting a laptop soon with vista on and i want to connect wirelessly to my pc which has xp. Is this possible?
Any help would be great

Providing you have a wireless router and the PC is wired / wireless I don't see why not.

Not a problem, I'm doing just that with my Vista laptop and XP tower. It's the router which is doing the work and it doesn't care what breed of OS the computers are. What you do have to be aware of is Vista's built in firewall, it is so locked down that you'll probably find it impossible to share any folders. No matter what I did to it it would only allow me to share the public folders, in the end I disabled it and put on the free version of ZoneAlarm which was painless to set up.
