Sad day. We were virtually the same age and I loved watching him in the Minder, The Sweeney and New Tricks.

Me too. Was always great to see him as the down-to-earth "Terry" getting the better of "Arthur" (played by George Cole) in Minder.
And great he did the theme tune too. RIP.
