It won't lead to their demise. Rangers' problems are of their own making.

Whatever club rises from the ashes.
Rangers and Celtic are both bad for Scottish football but not having them there might well be even worse. Most teams rely on the income generated by the big two and without them several clubs will probably fold.
That said a move away from Scotland to England isn't for me. Rangers, even without their recent troubles, and Celtic would get spanked in the Premiership and would probably be mid-table Championship at best.

Celtic in particular have a huge support, only beaten by man u? Once money rolls in they have the potential to be very successful

So the fans would rather spend their own money on a "new" Rangers rather than supporting a non-sectarian football club in Glasgow?
Also, what would happen to the SPL if Rangers did shut down?

Re: Would you like to see Celtic and Rangers in the English league?
If l think if Celtic and Rangers left the SPL, the league would be a better place.
When Rangers and Celtic get together, there is always this sectarian stuff going to get involved, I have been to only two games in Scotland, l went to an old firm game - and was told to keep my mouth shut as l was in the Celtic end. The other was Hearts for a friendly with Tottenham.

I would describe the Old Firm Derby as a Scottish Extension of the NI Troubles

Have you been to one of these games Alan as perhaps you are not best qualified to give a opinion on that.
