Strange account\billing issue after £68 bill
Not to sure weather this is bill or mobile service related as it effects both I guess.
Gf got billed £68 this month when in the past (well since march 11 anyways)she has never gone over the 500 inclusive minutes, near 200 minutes over the 500 inclusive. Goto the VM store and they pass us onto cs via the store. CS claim she has used that as the account says she has and the numbers involved are all on previous months bills so not suspicious. They also deny my partner set a £20 spending limit at the time she did as being on very limited income thats exacally what she did. They also say they dont have any policy to inform mobile customers when they start to go over inclusive allowence and start to incure extra charge via text message even though other networks do.
CS suggest she looks at the itemised bill when she gets home as they say the bill looks normal and there is nothing strange on it at all.
The bill shows that there are well over 200 calls she has apparently made during the month that have not been connected (probably not connected or no answer) but have either come off her allowence or been charged for at the per minute rate. In some cases this has been as many as 3 or 4 calls in a single minute to the same number that has been charged at 3 minutes of useage on some days and 3 minutes of billage (90p) on others even though thats been in a single minute and the call has not been answered?.
Also towards the end of the month after the inclusive allowence has been used the next days are assumingly liable for charges for the calls right?. But for the last week or so of the bill it shows that on some days she has been billed for calls (after using the allowance) but she has not been charged on other days?.
This seems very odd to me, so is there an account problem or is this mormal to be charged for non connected calls and to receive free days on later days?.
