Connecting a Netgear DG834G to NTL cable modem

Anyone out there got any suggestions for connecting my Netgear DG834G wireless router to the NTL cable modem so that the two pcs in the house can access the internet.

Currently unable to get any internet access through this.

Re: Connecting a Netgear DG834G to NTL cable modem

Would that be an ADSL router? If so you will struggle to get it working on NTL if you are taking their DSL service. If it's new I would take it back for a DSL/ Cable router. Do you get your service via a SACM/ STB or via phoneline?

It is an ADSL router & can't be used with an ntl cable modem broadband service.

You can however use it if you have ntl 'Freedom' ADSL broadband.
