Re: The 100
Nice find, post apocalyptic Lord of the flies.
Spoiled by overbearing music and teenagers, plot holes and unnecessary nudity (bird at river).
Which means it'll get 2 seasons

Well the first 2 are probably because it's on The CW. What plotholes? Oh and cause it's on The CW.
This is one of those shows I'll keep watching for now.

Re: The 100
What nudity ?
I'm pretty sure she had her top and underwear on, unless you have some special episode ?
It was somewhat predictable until the final few scenes where the lad got speared.
I guess he must survive though as I'm sure the preview of the rest of the season included mention of him.

Re: The 100
Not nudity but topless actors in a lot of scenes. Something The CW does alot.

You know what I mean, is there a need for it in what is supposed to be their first few hours on earth searching for food, to then partially strip to go for a dip! Yea I get it "sex sells" so to speak but it really does spoil what could be a very good tv series, IMO of course

Re: The 100
What should she have done, put on a parka before going in the water? It's the CW, pretty people and flaunting it is present in everything they make.
I thought the episode was OK, nothing amazing but better than their usual fare.

TBH would you in the same scenario go skinny dipping in a river where you didn't know what was either under, in (as seen) or if even contaminated. I sure as hell wouldn't, in real life that wouldn't happen. Jump in the water and come out with your skin falling off or worse. IMO (and its just that) it wasn't needed. Maybe that's why I have such real issues with content on TV programs of today, no real thought goes into the story, just what sells. Maybe CW knows no other way to produce a TV program but thats their loss, making a TV prog that is entertaining, as close to real life as possible and as factual within the realms of what we know would be far more entertaining than gratuitous titillation.

You are vastly over thinking things. Just watch and enjoy.
