Re: Colour of your car
I have just ordered a new Hyundai Ionic in red. I have had enough of high fuel prices and queuing every time someone panics. At the moment it should cost me about £ 8.50 per 160 miles . i travel 30 miles to work and home each day so no issue with range. It is going to cost me £750 for the charger to be fitted at home which is a pain but by my calculation i should be quids in after the second year.
In the year of the poll it would have been black

Indeed but no matter what you do that is going to happen as they will make far more money from it. Just think they can increase the cost to drive on certain roads by schools between 06:00 and 09:30 or on main link roads like Princess parkway in Manchester at rush hour. No matter what we do road charging is coming sooner than most believe and most of the infrastructure is in place as it will be based on ANPR .

Re: Colour of your car
The trouble with that is number plates are easy to change/falsify (and also missing in one direction on motorbikes).
False number plates are probably not a big issue atm, but that would soon change if everyone was being charged based on them.

Re: Colour of your car
We were in a crash last Monday, so my nice Orange car is now gone, Thank God we are both alive to tell the tale, We are still very shocked , so it will take a while to get over it,
Three cars involved, but no one seriously hurled, Thank the Lord, Hope we can replace our car with another Orange one,

Re: Colour of your car
Sorry to hear that nash. Just curious - what was your orange car? You don't see many.
I had an orange motorbike in the 1970s, but that's the 1970s for you.

Dark blue, the same as it was in 1995.

Re: Colour of your car
No longer got my red car. My new car is now white.
A little White Ford Fiesta but it takes me to work and back so can't complain.
