They have their similarities and their differences.
They both have all the add on packages but Now TV has On Demand the VM box does not and VMs box has Freeview Now TV does not

NowTV has got out of the hardware game at the last relaunch.
They no longer sell the boxes or streaming stick.
Any stock at retailers isn't being replaced.
