Netgear WNB2100 need HELP adding wireless security

Basically....

I got a new NETGEAR router and I wish to add new security on to it... once i've accessed the router. I've changed the SSID name and added a WEP key on to it. When I save the changes and the router resets, I select my new network connection in windows based on the SSID i've given it. When it tries to connect to the new connection, Windows asks for certification where it needs a username, password and domain rather than the WEP key. I put in the default log in settings and even the WEP key but this does not WORK.. do you know what the info on this section should be based on so I can access my new connection?

I'm a bit of a newbie.. so please help me out!
