virgin media streaming
I have a broadband,TV and phone package, including one V6 box.I am interested in adding a streaming box for a second tv.I phoned Virgin but was unable to get an answer to what I thought was a simple question.
Does anyone know if they allow this package?

Re: virgin media streaming
It's not possible - you can't add Virgin's Stream box if you already have TV with them.
Stream is also limited to one box per account, so dropping your V6 wouldn't help either.

Yes it's a pain. Best just getting a firestick for the second TV.

Re: virgin media streaming
The problem with a second V6 is you need the a new cable installing it is not a previously used location.
If it used just for regular tv and doesn't have to be VM - then something like a Firestick is a better option.

Interesting! What prestigious "must-have" streaming apps are missing from Roku that could be sideloaded onto a Fire stick?

TeaTV and Kodi for a start get sideloaded on a Firestick.

It depends on where you are in the scene. On the outside I guess not many on the inside most of them

TeaTV and Kodi aren't really mainstream prestigious apps though. The sideloading suggestion does, sort of, make sense if the aim is to stream from not very legitimate sources and I guess that's what the reference to "the scene" suggests. On the whole though, Roku does seem to carry most if not all of the mainstream providers.

I used to develop GUIs for Kodi and it is more to do with code and what can be done over piracy.
