Re: Watch Repair

I remember my dad had an expensive watch, I forget the make, when he took it to a local shop, rather than specialist, they said they could replace the battery, BUT as they're not authorised specialist they couldn't do the seals etc.

As my dad didn't intend to wear it in the shower, let alone deep sea dive, he paid them the few quid to do it, rather than shed loads authorised dealer wanted, and it's been fine.

H Samuel either do it, or more likely send it away to be done.

Although this watch was bought in H Samuel in the past few years what limited dealings I've had with Jewellers I've dealt with F Hinds and been very happy with them.
