LAN MAC Filter?
I am using a Linksys WRT54G router with DD-WRT firmware. I have found an option to create a wireless MAC filer list, but is it possible to create a wired MAC filter list?

Is there a global MAC address list, from which you can deny access? Otherwise, you may be able to give out DHCP IPs to certain MACs, then block by IP.
(Apologies for the acronym soup...)
edit: a thought - what are you trying to do? Can't really see much reason why you'd want to ban MACs, assuming you have control over what is plugged in where...

Just reserve IP's in the DHCP list to certain MACs, but only allow the pool to be the size of the reserve list... No-one then not on the reserve list should be able to get an IP...
Doesn't though stop people using a manually set IP in the correct range

Simply attach an automatic gun turret to the router to stop people attaching cables? Or superglue all the cables in place with unwired plugs in unused sockets?
Seriously though I was wondering why you would want to do this and realised that a reasonable reason would be to restrict someones internet access. Fiddly but effective method until they guess the router password.

There is a tab called Access Restrictions, there you can set mac and IP lists that you can allow or deny access... whichever suits you

If you don't want people plugging stuff into your router, the most secure option is simple. Put it in a locked cabinet. You will need to make sure that the cabinet is ventillated (electrical equipment in confined spaces gets hot and you run the risk of burn out or fire).
You can either stick the cabling through the slots for ventillation or drill holes in it.

This it's not goof for LAN, it's for WAN Access.
