Fortitude
I hate the fact VM doesn't have Sky Atlantic yet so i had to acquire the first episode by other means, but i'm really liking it so far.
I mainly wanted to watch it due to it being filmed in Iceland as i have my 3rd trip booked in March , looking forward to episode 2

Re: Fortitude
I was disappointed with Ep 01 but will give Ep 02 a chance before probably deleting the series link.
As always I hope to be proven wrong.

Watched the first episode, off to the dentist for an extraction, much more fun than this TV series, IMO of course.

Re: Fortitude
Not sure whether I like this or not. A murder mystery set in the snow with people with silly accents and to be "edgy," some naked flesh thrown in for good measure. zzzz.

Re: Fortitude
Hmm...Ep 2 was even drearier than Ep1
I can't decide which is the biggest let down, this or Broadchurch S02.

Re: Fortitude
Well, the ice is starting to thaw with me on this one now....
After the lastest episode (No4) I think this is actually turning into quite a decent who dunnit. Yes, the silly accents are still there and wooden acting and writing, but I think I'll stick with it.

Re: Fortitude
I'm continuing to watch it simply because there is little else to compete with it. TV, in general, is beyond scraping the bottom of the barrell ATM

Re: Fortitude
...I agree, as far as UK TV goes.
There you used to be a time when you could turn on to either BBC 1 or ITV and not have to switch channels at all. You would get at least one decent sitcom and drama in the evening, as well as a current affairs show, nature, news etc all on one channel. Now its dominated by celebrity chefs, antiques and reality. At least there are American shows, they still have a lot of good stuff over there.
