Virgin Statip IP and Outgoing FTP Issues

Hi, Firstly many thanks for adding me to the forum. My issue is with Virgin Media Business 5 Static IP service. I switched a couple of weeks ago from dynamic, and the vast majority of it works fine. Normal traffic, up and down is fine. Incoming services set up on the static IP's work fine. The issue is with outgoing FTP (updating websites on a remote server). It fails every time. I've tested 2 different FTP clients, and 2 different remote servers. I've unlocked FTP on the remote servers both by time and IP address. The FTP Client can connect to the server, but when I try an upload it runs at 1kbs and just times out. Nothing has changed with my set up other than the change on the Hitron router (which always used to run in Modem mode), and the necessary change on my Draytek to get the new connection running. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I think I've sorted this. It seems that the Firewall settings on the Hitron changed when changing to Static IP. I've adjusted these and all now seems to work.

Thanks Paul. Does anyone else have any thoughts. I did notice that, if the firewall is still doing something then IDENT traffic is being blocked. So that might be my issue. Anyone any ideas?
