Re: Help!!!!!

Hi abedkim and to CF.

AFAIK all you would need do is to power down everything, pc, router, modem, then power up modem, let lights stable, router, again let stable, then pc.

HTH

Re: Help!!!!!

Evening Bop.

On the back of the router should be a hole containing a reset button. Get a paper clip and either press the button for 5-10 seconds or ulplug the router and plug back in holding the button down. One of those should reboot and reset to factory settings.

Re: Help!!!!!

If you can't connect to your router, make sure there's not a proxy specified in your browser. For IE, its Tools, Internet Options, Connections, Lan Settings, and untick proxy. For Firefox, check in your preferences. Often people change proxies without setting the "ignore local traffic" option, meaning your computer will try connecting to the router through an outside proxy which will fail.

If you want to restart your router, if you look on the unit there is normally a little hole/reset button you can poke to re set the router back to factory defaults. Also, if you can log in, you can normally do it through there as well.
