Reboots

For the last 3 days my modem has rebooted at just after 2am.
It did the same last week for 3 days, then stopped again, I'm curious why this would be happening.

Virgin doing work during the night, would you rather it was during the day when you need it?

Yes.

Any time before 1.30 pm since I'm in bed, or only just up.
I dont need it until after 1.30pm, and I do need it at 2am.

You assume everyone works and lives 9 to 5, newsflash: We dont.

[ and yes, I guessed its work being done, the question is what takes 3 days a week, for 2 weeks, or more. ]

Re: Reboots

Upgrades can take that long, mine used to reboot like clockwork at 2am a good few years back for many weeks AFAIR.

I was not trying to be funny but, on the fact, not everyone works 9-5 that would not get you an out of jail card for loud noise coming from your home at 10pm-7am doing DIY or partying.
