Number porting
So I moved from Oomph to Volt and was told I'll get a new SIM card.
VM took the PAC code and I was told I'll keep my old mobile number.
I have the new O2 SIM card up and running with a new number and the old Virgin card is still up and running with the old number.
I called O2 who re-took the old number and PAC code - but no change.
How long should it take for the new card to refresh with the old number?

Re: number porting
My switches have always been the next working day (so never do it on a Friday ).

Re: Number porting
I did a couple of reboots - and all is good now.
It does seem to be about 24 hours. Thank you

Re: Number porting
When I went VM to o2 last year it took them a while to get it sorted. I did get in touch to make sure the number was still safe because that had actually gone into the system and not ported properly. They did get it sorted in the end

Re: Number porting
I waited 5 days for a port from EE to O2. Didn’t happen. Coverage was awful where I live and work so decided to cancel. When I rang up to cancel they said porting had still not been processed.
