Re: Formula 1 2010 Season [may contain real time spoilers]

Looks like Mercedes might have to cough up more cash than they planned as a $132million Brawn sponsorship deal appears to be a "invalid" can this sport get any more financially convoluted.

Re: Formula 1 2010 Season [may contain real time spoilers]

thanks for the info. As the current constructors champions I don't think they will have much trouble finding another sponsor.

Glad to see Heikki get a drive he looked good when coming through the ranks to F1 it was only when up against Alonso and Hamilton he didn't fair too well.

Wonder if Senna will get a drive with one of the new teams, maybe Manor. He was linked to Honda \ Brawn but seems they are after Shuey

Di Grassi to Virgin

Think he deserves a drive in F1 so nice to see some new blood in the sport.

I so want the F1 season to start now. I can't wait. It's looking stronge and stronge that Schumi will returning. Hamilton & Button. The Lotus team. Alonso with Ferrari. It's going to be one hell'a season.

Re: Formula 1 2010 Season [may contain real time spoilers]

I think though it might take at least one season for the new boys/cars to catch up with the rest.. Brawn might not be as competitive without experience or all the work that Honda did for the 2009 season before they pulled the plug.

I think this years gonna be a walkover for one of the established teams or a 3 way fight (Mclaren, Ferrari, rebbull)

Re: Formula 1 2010 Season [may contain real time spoilers]

agree this will be a good season and like you i'm not sure if Merc nee Brawn will be up there next year.

McLaren sorted out the car but had a heavy kers system. With this gone then can make the car even better and should be right up there.
Ferrari with Massa had a good car and it won at Spa so again with no KERS should be back at the front every race.
Red Bull ended the year with the fastest car.
Brawn started with the fastest car and then went no where with it so be interesting what Merc can do with that

It could be a forth, lets not forget about Force India. They had some "popups" as it where. Of course, the company I work for sponser them, so of course I wont them to pop up However, I can't wait especially, with the no re fulling rule. I

I also think your right, I am not expecting nothing from Button as hes going to take time to settle, the same goes with the new teams, again,t hey are going to take time to settle. Brawn GP / Mercedes again, I dont think they will be competitve at all, that said, if they get Schumi, who knows.. I still don't think Rosburg is that gooda choice in my opinion

The Renault deal has been announced. Sorry no ProDrive Aston Martins just yet. A Luxembourg based finance and management firm has acquired a significant holding in the team. Engine Supply to Red Bull has been confirmed also.

Kobayashi has a race seat for 2010 with Sauber.

There can't be too many empty seats left now.......

Does his name, which is now synonymous with being in a no-win situation, have anything to do with his racing style.
