BQM questions.

https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broad...6b6a3a427b1fe8

Good morning all,

Firstly, I'm sorry if I've not attached the BQM properly but I very rarely have to attach anything on a forum

Is this just too early (I set it up yesterday evening) or is somety dramatically wrong with my connection?

Many thanks,

Nathan

Re: BQM questions.

You will need to go into your modem settings and disable a setting, I think it maybe called 'ip flood protection' ,on my Hub3 you find this under Advanced/Security/Firewall but if you have a different modem the option maybe called something else as I can't remember.

Re: BQM questions.

Thanks very much mate. I'll loo I to it now and I've just read that maybe the IP address I've given it could be wrong too.
I'll come back as soon as I've got it sorted

EDIT.....

I've enabled "respond to ping on internet port" on my Nighthawk and now it's monitoring. I'll post up again once the graph is full

Ok, so here goes again.
Could someone in the know please take a look and let me know how I'm doing?

Many thanks,

Re: BQM questions.

I seem to be getting some spikes now but I have no idea if they're in the realms of bad or not.

lol@weekend fiddling. Are you saying that porn traffic hits the ceiling at weekends?

It's ok, I get it. :-) You would think that VM would not fiddle with their network until most folk are getting their sleep quota.
