VM customers can set their own spending caps
Good news here for Virgin Mobile customers...
http://www.seenit.co.uk/virgin-mobil...spending-caps/
Virgin Mobile customers can now set spending caps to ensure they don’t run up excess charges, but existing customers will only get the feature if they first upgrade or recontract.
The firm says it’ll also send customers an SMS alert when they approach their spending cap and again if the limit is reached.
It’s also updating its mobile app at the end of this month to offer customers “a simple way” of setting the cap, tracking their monthly spend and buying data add-ons and get help and support.
The network is also increasing its maximum 4G speeds by 40% to 70Mbps from 50Mbps.

Upgrade or reconstruct. Way to go Virgin. You really look after existing customers.

It's the Same on Vodafone. Only customers that upgraded or joined after the 4th September will get the spending cap.
It's a new Ofcom regulation starting on 1st October.
