What is the best channel for me?

I have a Belkin N1 and have channels 1-13 & i'm currently on Channel 12 with Bandwidth > 20mhz+40mhz auto and extension channel 8.

What would you think is the best channel to use? With 20mhz+40mhz.

I did a scan on a few networks in my bedroom.

Signal is %0 because i disconnected the wifi adapter after the scan.

Please note though i use wifi down stairs and in other rooms so it may pick up a few other wifi networks. Which do you think is the best to use for me?

Re: What is the best channel for me?

ideally as we can use channel 13 the best channels would be 1, 5, 9 and 13 as they dont overlap one another
sadly we get 1, 6, 11 in use like the americans have (they cant use 12 or 13 legally)
14 would be ideal here but its japan only so dont try it :P
use a common one thats not shared by nearby access points is best imo
