FM here as the DAB signal is not that good, despite being close (too close?) to the local main transmitter.
I bought the missus a multi-mode "radio" so that she can listen to French stations on the internet without all the whistles and pops. If she is off doing something else I can use it to listen to local USA radio stations which can be hilarious.

That's a shame. Maybe you should give radio another try.
What did you used to listen to before you stopped listening to the radio?
Adverts, loads of them, in fact more adverts than damn music.
. . oh and half a song, many radio stations got very good at cutting tracks short . . probably to fit the bloody adverts in.

I havent listened to it purposely since the Top 20/40 in the 1970's (Radio 1, I think).
Other than that I used to have a clock radio to wake me up, but once awake I'd just turn it off, and sometimes it would be on in my car (until I got a CD player).
I mainly used TV for music, not radio, these days neither, "pop music" these days is just crap, IMO.

You are correct, one of two songs that I consider my all time favourites.

back in topic, do people mind the sound quality on DAB not necessarily being as good on DAB, such as quite a lot of stations on the national multiplexes only being available in mono.
