Slow broadband

Is there a problem with broadband today. My pc is taking ages to load pages. Can VM do a test from their end please?

If you have problems with your broadband, you firstly need to either post here https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Speed/bd-p/Speed and wait a few days for VM staff to pick it up or ring 150/0800 561 0061 the 0800 number will indicate if you have any very local issues which are not on the service status page

You should also set up a broadband quality monitor https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broad...toring/quality

Once it has built up data, you will get something like the below



You can also search http://192.168.0.1/ from your address bar or 192.168.100.1 if you're in modem mode. Do not sign in, click Check router status go to the downstream tab and see what your Power (dBmV) levels are they should be in a range from -6 to +10
