How can I connect a Wireless Router to the virgin BB?

Hey yaa I am currently using the Linksys WRT54GC ver 2.0 wireless router and I am getting confused on how to connect the virgin bb to the router....what kind of connection should I choose for it? DHCP, PPOE , Static IP, or PPTP? and what should I fill in for the host name? Thanks for helping=)

dhcp and leave the hostname blank, rest should work itself out

If you are still having problems, I'd suggest you do a factory reset on the router so it's back to the default settings. Normally you don't need to change or enter anything, it will just work.

Make sure that you power off the modem, router and computer before you connect up any of the ethernet cables. Once your wiring is in place, power up the modem first, lett that settle, then the router, let settle, then PC(s).

Get a wired connection sorted first between modem <> router <> PC(s), then configure your wireless.
