That looks superb.
The more I see of the Wii the more convinced some of my hard earned overtime will be going into the pockets of Nintendo.

Re: Wii - Far Cry - With Explanation of how the controllers work
Awesome.
I do like how the are using the controller to be more authentic for a FPS, even more authentic than a mouse. I've seen/heard this about other games. I saw on another game you hold the controller to your face and look down it, as if the controller was a barrel of a gun and you was looking down it, aiming.
Its going ache keeping your arms up though for more an a few mins at a time.
So you win some, you lose some.
Also, for a supposedly graphically-substandard console, the graphics doesn't look too shabby to me, even thought the video is very low res.

Re: Wii - Far Cry - With Explanation of how the controllers work
The graphics are not very powerful on the Wii, its not really the point of it. More powerful than the gamecube though by about 3 times. Who plays Nintendo games and thinks about the graphics though?
PS. New Zelda has great graphics!
Also, Nintendo may be releasing a holder for the wii remote that makes it act more like a gun (u get the handle, plug the wii remote in it and it comes with a trigger on the handle)

Where are people ordering it from? I can't see it on Amazon UK. Play.com is sold out. Dabs and Ebuyer have it but they are both on my naughty step ATM.

BTW the Linux support for this is great. There are live CDs and people are already setting up custom Wii installations, and the thing isn't even out yet. Sweet

Cheers. Can't see the console only there which sucks. Would rather get COD3 and Far Cry than Zelda and Rayman.
BTW, the aiming down the site, is from COD3, like here:

How frackin' cool is that - now I just need to "convince" my 15 year old lad he "needs" one for Christmas
