Re: tivo app not downloading

It's saying it's not compatible, because it's not compatible.

Unfortunately the HTC Wildfire's screen size and resolution are too low for the app

Re: tivo app not downloading

The VM app is a tvguide for setting remote recordings. It will not operate or control your TiVo.

Re: tivo app not downloading

The Wildfire S has a higher screen resolution than the original Wildfire

The original Wildfire is not compatible and the app will not run on it

Re: tivo app not downloading

The OS is not the issue. As Ben has now said twice, the issue is the screen resolution. It doesn't matter how up to date the phone OS is, if the screen resolution is too low, it's too low.

Re: tivo app not downloading

i have the same problem with the seagate goflex remote app .... works on wildfire s but not on original wildfire even though it says android 2.1 is required

its purely down to screen resolution

the annoying thing is i only got the wildfire 2 months ago and as it was a free upgrade i signed up for a new 18 month contract so i'm stuck with it

Re: tivo app not downloading

Again only the Wildfire S is compatible. The low 320x240 res of the original Wildfire is not high enough to display the TiVo record app.

Sean1234567, if you want to improve your reputation a bit, I would suggest you lose your own attitude. If you have problems understanding a post, ask the poster to explain what they meant.

Also, it's not a good idea to have a go at people (and that is how your posts are coming across) if they are trying to help.
