Android email app
Has anyone got any recommendations for an alternative to the official Outlook app on Android?
I'm not looking to change my email address, however the official Outlook app now contains ads, so I want an alternative that will enable me to continue using my existing email address while giving me an ad-free experience (that is, until Microsoft prevent the use of third-party clients).
Cheers

I used to use k9, not sure if it's still going or still any good.

Do you have an adblocker installed?

Re: Android email app
Thanks Grim, I'll take a look.
No standalone ad blocker, Pip. Just the one built into my browser. Until now I very rarely used any apps with ads. Do ad blockers prevent in app ads too then?

Re: Android email app
The reason I gave up on k9 was Gmail was still running in the background so I was getting double notifications which started to wind me up!

You can turn those Gmail notifications off.

It was more the issue running two email apps, this was back in the day when phones didn't have masses of storage and I'm sure it's possible to disable the default Gmail app but I just didn't have the time nor the inclination to do it!
