If England do manage to scrape a win here it would be totally unjustified even allowing for Sam Currans heroics.
Very poor batting in both innings and woeful catching in India’s first innings. Given home advantage and how India where so undercooked, a dismal display overall.

Well if Stokes gets sent down and Anderson and Broad break down under the load England could struggle to win this series, five tests in six weeks, madness.
A win is a win I suppose but this one leaves a lot to be desired.

An easy win in the end against a thoroughly dispirited Indian side. Badly prepared and even though England got out of jail in the first match and by winning the toss here they had by far the best of both bowling and batting conditions the old adage is true. ‘Fail to prepare, prepare to fail ‘.

England’s top order batting deserves to be pilloried, the lower order and the bowlers got them out of jail in both games. 
OT, Lancashire thrash table toppers Durham to qualify for the T20 quarterfinals.
