Amazon cutting off programmes

Since Neighbours moved to Amazon every so often it cuts the programme off before it finishes. As it's only on streaming I can't find any alternative way to see the bits at the end I've missed. It must be some sort of timing delivery problem but can't they manage to sort it out?

How to disable auto-playing video and audio on the new Fire TV home screen interface
From the home screen, scroll to the Settings section.
Scroll to and select the “Preferences” menu option.
Scroll down and select the “Featured Content” option.
Turn off the “Allow Video Autoplay” and the “Allow Audio Autoplay” options

or

To manage Auto Play from the Prime Video website:

Go to Account & Settings
Open the Playback tab in the top menu.
Toggle Auto Play to ON or OFF.

Re: Amazon cutting off programmes

I've just checked and my tivo settings don't include preferences so that won't work. It's still happening and more frequently now. Unfortunately I can't find anything related to playback on my Amazon Prime account, I expect it's hiding somewhere and may be the solution. However, even if it stopped running the next show automatically would it stop the first one ending early?

Re: Amazon cutting off programmes

Despite its eventual discovery there are no visible links on any Amazon site, and the settings gear has been removed from it as well. I found the Amazon help forum and turns out someone had the same problem, and it had a link to the settings playback page which is unreachable directly. It still means Amazon have a glitch as it often starts the next programme before the other finishes and you can never see the end.
