I need a NAS router or device of some sort.

Hi all

I'm not exactly sure what they're called, but I need a NAS/Network device which would allow me to connect a USB harddrive to it, which I could then FTP stuff to over the web.

I believe you can get routers with built in FTP servers and USB ports, but I don't need a whole router, I just need the nas functionality, and I already have the external drive to, so I don't need one of those.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Qnap do a large range of NAS drives, all with load of functionality.

Have a look at scan.co.uk they do NAS drives from a few suppliers.

rip the drive out of the enclosure and fit it into a nas enclosure and attach it to your router
