Smarty for mobile any good?
Has anyone used Smarty and what are their thoughts on the service?
I'm currently on THREE and I want to stay on this network which Smarty uses so I'm considering taking the £10 a month plan out.

Re: Smarty for mobile any good?
As you rightly say they are Three so one would assume they will just be the same as Three. There plans are really competitive too
It is a shame they do not do data in a block as I would consider buying a couple of hundred gig for when/if the power cuts this winter

If it cuts out you could then sleep more or just snap up the £10 for £50 gig plan or £20 for unlimited.
Assuming the mast doesn't cut out too.

Re: Smarty for mobile any good?
I've been with Smarty for about a year, £12pm for 100gb plus unlimited minutes and text, and 5G. I've not had any problems with them, porting my old number took about a day and a half. The app is really good. I also got a free month for recommending a friend, they got a free month too.
Customer service is excellent.
They offered me unlimited data / min and txt for £18pm. And there's no long contracts, just pay monthly, cancel when you like.
By-the-way, use my referral link if you fancy a £10 gift card, we'll both get a choice of a Gift Card from Amazon.co.uk, John Lewis Partnership or Uber..

Cheers Jimmy I will do that, think I'll sign up over the weekend to the £10 for 50gig offer for 12 months, then it drops to 30 which should be plenty.
Remind me, when I give Smarty my PAC code will my Three automatically close and stop debiting me?

Yeah, I think I just sent a number to Three by text and it automatically sent my pac code, then Smarty took care of everything else, I didn't have any other contact with Three after that.

All signed up to the 30gig+20gig plan for £10 a month using your referral code.
If a better offer comes along at Smarty in the future is it easy to move onto that?
I'm currently paying around £24 a month for a 3 unlimited so it's a good saving.

Re: Smarty for mobile any good?
Nice one SnoopZ, we should have the vouchers within 14 days.
yeah, any change of plan normally changes over at your next bill date, I changed from 50gig to 100gig for the same price, £12pm. They always let you know by text and email when there are offers available.
I'm sure you'll be happy with them, I moved from Three, was with them for about 4 years, and even though Smarty use their network, Smarty just seem to do everything better. The app is a doddle to use. 5G works fine when I'm within range too.

Re: Smarty for mobile any good?
All sounds far too pricy for me. ASDA mobile (aka vodafone) for £5 a month gives me all I need.

Your plan would be far to limiting for my needs, 3gig isn't enough for my internet music/radio in the car and live traffic on an Android Auto satnav along with using it at work, also no 5g and it's Vodafone which is none existing here.
You could save £1 a month with Smarty and get 5g and 4gig, then spend it on your energy bill.

Re: Smarty for mobile any good?
Have used Three and Smarty (and others) where I am - no issues with Smarty when joining, cancelling, rejoining etc.

Thanks it's great I can change to another deal easily, WiFi calling is important here as the signal isn't great so as I know that works on Three it should be all good, great to save more money a month, just got to brave VM retentions and renegotiate that contract!
