Exclamation Ntl and gaming - help!

Hi i have a linksys WRT54GS wireless router and ntl broadband. The broadband works fine thru the router and wireless until i come to try and play online games. I am trying to play command and conquer generals but it is continuously disconnecting me. If i leave otu the router and just have the broadband into my pc it works fine so the problem is with the router somewhere. I have tried port forwarding but it doesnt seem to work. i still get disconnected. its getting ridiculus.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

cheers

to Cable Forum

I've seen reports of another gamer having difficulties. He couldn't6 even connect to some games. Solved by an update of the router's firmware.

Re: Ntl and gaming - help!

if you use a wired connection through the router is this ok? or is it both wired and wireless that are causing you issues?
