All eggs in one basket /Powerline adapters

I have fairly recently purchased a smart Tv with 3d Blu-ray player, with a Tivo box as part of my VIP package. My Super-hub (120Mg) being upstairs, my ideal setup would be all linked to the one network. This would allow me to expand on the current capabilities of the Tv and to a degree with Blu-ray player. Ultimately I could establish the VM tv anywhere service for my phone and tablet.
My thoughts are towards Powerline adapters, TP-Link have several and also a 5 port desktop hub/switch. This takes me to my limits and request guidance on whether that pursuit would stand correct and/or what I would need to purchase.
thanks in advance MEL

what do you need to know?

you could use 2 homeplugs one by router one near downstairs equipment so your network extends downstairs then downstairs have a hub or a homeplug with a hug built in to serve your tv tivo and blu ray
