Zyxel 336 - No wireless?!?

Hiya...

Some time ago I bought the p336m router from Scan.co.uk with the intention of setting up a wi-fi network. Alas, it seems it is either cream crackered or I am doing something very wrong. I know it sounds daft that I've only just got round to mentioning it, but when I set it up with the wires all plugged in and then took the laptop downstairs, I found connecting to the internet a doddle.

However, more recently I've realised that I'm getting on the internet so easilly due to the fact that next door are on the same ISP and have failed to set up even basic security!!!

While free internet might sound good, it's a massive concern to me especially as I use the PC for banking and buying stuff at Christmas. Now... Back to the 336...

All wired connections work a treat, but it won't show up on my laptop when I scan for wi-fi devices. I've reset it to make it visible to all just for the sake of testing. There's a wireless on/off switch on the back that as the description suggests turns the broadcast on and off - Great feature. Turning this on just sets the wi-fi light blinking as you'd expect, but the blinking doesn't erm... Blinking stop... Sorry Heheh!

Sadly it's well out of date as far as warranty goes so I'm hoping someone has had and remedied this and could tell me how to as well!

Either that or it's back to the shops.

Thanks for all your ideas in advance.
