Free UHD/Disney+ for £1.99 offer.

Apparently, it costs £4pm for UHD.

Some accounts have an offer available where, if you take Disney+ at £5.99pm, the UHD becomes free. The free UHD means that, if effect, you get Disney+ for £1.99pm

You will be billed for Disney+ as normal at £5.99, but taking this service makes the £4 UHD charge disappear on the selected accounts.

£1.99 too much. A free vomit bag with every Disney movie might swing it.

Have you got a source because" apparently" isn't enough?

Re: Free UHD/Disney+ for £1.99 offer.

No source needed, just log into your account and see if you are one of the chosen ones or not.

The 'apparently' refers to the cost of UHD.

Re: Free UHD/Disney+ for £1.99 offer.

How did you find this out, Richard?

Was it on your Sky account?

Re: Free UHD/Disney+ for £1.99 offer.

It sounds more like a quirk, rather than a deal. I'd imagine it'll be a fairly limited number of customers that can take advantage. You'll need to have the Sky Q UHD box, but not be taking the UHD pack. I can't imagine many people will have paid extra for the UHD box without taking a UHD subscription, apart from those wanting the extra 1tb of storage.

Re: Free UHD/Disney+ for £1.99 offer.

Ah, so it's existing UHD customers that get the discount. I wonder if its a sign of package/bundle changes to come.

Re: Free UHD/Disney+ for £1.99 offer.

What's the £2 increase that's referred to in the link? Does it mean the Sky UHD cost is going up in March? Surely Disney+ can't be going up to £7.99 already!

This might be the sting in the tail. Sky might lock you into a contract and then charge you £2 for UHD; still makes Disney+ cheaper though.
