Fallout
I know nothing of the source material.
But I’m enjoying it, 3 episodes in, and all good.
Very Mad Max influenced, in fact there was an obvious nod in Episode 2.
See how it goes!

Re: Fallout
It is nothing like the game. I have watched 3 episodes so far and it has not crashed once

Re: Fallout
Absolutely loving it. Played all the games and they've really captured everything perfectly.
Apparently Steam has doubled its Fallout player count since the series came out!

Re: Fallout
Also reached Episode 3, quite enjoying it atm, we'll see how the rest pan out.
Like Pierre, I know nothing about the game, I didnt even know it was based on one until recently.

I expect Fallout 4 on PS5 and Series X will see a huge player increase as they're releasing an update on April 25th giving it Performance and Quality modes which enables 60fps. I could never play it before as it gave me serious motion sickness so this should fix that.

Same thoughts here although I've only played Fallout 4 quite recently after my son suggested i might like it. As you say the detail is captured perfectly. Can't wait for the next series which I believe is more or less guaranteed.

Very good! I'm guessing you're playing on PC, never had a single crash on console although the game isn't without its weird little glitches.

Re: Fallout
Just finished it, one of the best things I’ve watched in a long long time.
Closed enough for S1 kept enough open for S2, Bravo.
Couldn’t work out if that last scene was Seattle or Vegas.

Could be Vegas seeing as New Vegas was an expansion (might have actually been a stand alone game after Fallout 3)

Re: Fallout
It was New Vegas as seen in the game of the same name. So many locations were taken straight from the games.
Great show for those who don't know the Fallout world as it explains quite a lot and also excellent for those that have played every game with all the Easter eggs and references littered throughout.
