belkin mimo g+ router problems
i have a problem with my belkin g+ mimo router wirelessly with my laptop. i use bittorrent for downloads, and i'm experiencing very slow download speeds. the speeds build up, then slow down, and keep repeating this process, never maintaining a decent speed. the ports are forwarded correctly, but this doesn't seem to have had any effect. any ideas????

Re: belkin mimo g+ router problems
all torrent downloads are dependant on how fast a seeder is uploading ,upload and download speed is set in the bittorrent interface ,the download speed you see in the interface telling you how fast the file is comming down is not your connection speed think of it as the seeders upload speed you will find that the download speed varies greatly as seeders come on/off line
post some typical speeds for your torrents with no/ of seeders

Re: belkin mimo g+ router problems
You might want to check your upload speed on Bittorrent, as maxing this out will result in your download speed being rather slow.
If this is the case then set your upload speed to around a 1/3 of it's maximum.

Re: belkin mimo g+ router problems
its not to do with seeders, i understand how this works, but the speeds are extremely slow for every torrent. i have also already set my upload speed to this, but to no avail!!! thanks for yours suggestions though peeps, any other ideas??

i seem to be getting reasonable speeds now, but they're not consistent. they build up, but dont hold speed. as soon as the speed peaks, it drops straight back down to zero, then builds up again, and keeps repeating this
