Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
Liverpool face the start of the season with both centre backs Agger & Skrtel on the injured list.Aurelio also looks like missing the start of the season.Rumours that Dossena is on his way back to Italy and Lucas Leiva going back to Brazil continue.Albert Riera looks like being out for a while after being carried off with what looks like being a Achilles injury in tonights friendly in Norway.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
There's the potential now for an extremely interesting Celtic V Arsenal 4th round qualifier for the Champions League. I know the Gunners would be favourite but I reckon Celtic would run them close. One thing is for sure, with the footballing philosophy of Wenger and Mowbray in mind, there would be some nice football on show. Bring it on

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
I'd enjoy that Celtic are my 2ed team and I am a great admirer of Wenger and his style of football.A very shrewd manager who's ability to turn good players in to World class players.It would be a very interesting game.Mowbray's Westbrom played some very entaining football last season too.

Tic through and through but from the football watching aspect I do find the gooners very pleasing on the eye. {... and it's easier on the pocket to travel to the away game }

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
I heard that during the Charity Shield on sunday SAF will pull Owen off at half time.
Lucky old Michael! Most players only manage a bottle of Lucozade.

Me too. Chewing my fingernails already.
I suspect it's not the draw either mangager would have wanted but from the football fan's point of view it's mouth watering.
My nerves will be frazzled before we're into August. It's going to be a long season.
