Well let's hope Trump stops blocking sanctions against his Russian pals.

We shouldn't go. They bought the World Cup nomination from corrupt FIFA in the first place and our fans will only get beaten up by Russian thugs.

It’s getting quite serious now. Russia issues warning to UK not to threaten a Nuclear power and had contacted the Foreign Office for them to explain talk of Cyber Attacks against the Russian State, heard in Parliament and the British media.

Trouble is, we can't rely on Trump and we've made enemies of the EU. Russia have successfully divided and conquered, mostly via social media.

Sometimes you need to stand up to bullies. Russia aren't going to escalate this to a nuclear war.

Not true. Both EU and Trump have both vowed total support today, against Russia.

They are going to support the UK.
They dont want Russia to attack people in their countries either.

Re: New UK-Russia Tensions after Ex-Russian Spy Poisoned in Salisbury
The PM is expected to announce the expulsion of large quantity of Russian Diplomats but not as many as in 1971. They will likely retaliate and do the same with British Diplomats in Russia.
Russian Ambassador to the UK Alexander Vladirmirovich has just spoken and said these accusations against Russia is unacceptable and is a very serious provocation.
Foreign office has summoned the UN Security Council and they are meeting later today.

Expelling diplomats is such a weak response. Sanctions against Putin business mates would be more effective.

Not sure it will be just expulsions.
It's important to point out here that not one question on Russia was asked by Jeremy Corbyn in PMQ's he preferred to jump on the NHS bandwagon and exploiting the death of Stephen Hawkins to score political points.
Official Actions so far: 23 Russian diplomats to be expelled from the UK, they have one week to leave the UK.

Corbyn becoming political again. FFS this man is pathetic.

Corbyn has always been weak on Russia. Absurd statement. Confirms all my worst fears about him.

That's the kind of robust action we should be taking. But Theresa May will just do the minimum necessary so as to be seen to be taking action as we need Russian money, more so than ever.
