That’s why you have dinner in the lounge before boarding...

That all depends on the lounge. I didn't pay attention when booking. I booked BA - but it was only after I realised it was BA - operated by American. American Airlines have awful lounges. I haven't flown with them for about 4 years and they have upgraded the lounge since then - as it used to be that you got 2 free drinks and all the trail mix you could eat - now it's all free drinks and a hot buffet - but the buffet was soup, steamed vegetables, and some chicken thing, which didn't look good. So I had beer and crisps.

Enjoying a day off, seeing as it's going to be my last one now until NEXT Saturday. Did a 4 day week this week, then Sunday to Friday next week. Still, as someone said to me earlier, think of the money in my next pay cheque!!

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
l had a Occupational Therapist visit this morning as following concerns from the doctor and pain consultant about my ongoing chronic pain and discomfort which makes it very hard to get comfortable at night and the upshot is they will be installing a hospital bed in the bedroom in the next few days so that l can get myself into a more comfortable position night time when l am sleeping as currently l am on a upright sofa chair in the front room night time when l am sleeping which is proving detrimental to my health.

That is very good news den. My sister-in-law had one installed earlier this year and the difference it has made is unbelievable. Getting in and out of the bed
is so much easier and the adjustable angles for her back and legs means she wakes up a lot more refreshed.

Hospital bed made a huge difference to my Mum den.
After getting my blood tests results I decided to try and give the anti sickness meds another go and so far so good although I do feel rather drowsy and I don't like that feeling at all.

Thanks weenie and jo for sharing your experiences as yes the anti sickness medications will certainly help you weenie as for me they eased the nausea so l could get something palatable food wise down me.
