Well i guess i'd save a stack of cash on fuel but might waste alot of cash repairing the heap of junk when it is in the garage!

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
What started as a moan has turned into a happy thought.
I took the day off work yesterday to install a dishwasher and build a new bed for my daughter. Both were arriving from Argos between 8.30 and 10.30am.
Argos phoned at 9.30 to say they now couldn't deliver until Saturday afternoon because of transport "issues". Not being a happy bunny I cancelled the whole order.
I managed to get a slightly better dishwasher for the same price and it should be delivered next Wednesday. My 9 year old still wanted the same bed though so went back onto just order that and it's now HALF PRICE.... ![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif) WHOOP WHOOP ![Cheer Leader](images/smilies/cheerleader.gif)

Mum has had neurosurgery & will be going back to a post surgical ward from ICU tonight.
She opened her eyes & said 'Hello' to me as well...

I am so relieved that she has come through the surgery and getting out of ICU shows she is making good progress. Hugs to you all.

She will soon be home helping to plan your wedding and will be the proudest mum around.

Thanks both, just seen her again and she looks a lot better at least. Quite alert although still somewhat confused. Took her friend who she's known since she was evacuated in 1941 to see her. Made both of them happy, she was even smiling at one point...
