Re: Season 2019/2020 Football
Frank Lampard will already be feeling the heat of the managers job after today.

Re: Season 2019/2020 Football
Before the game kicked off, one of my Facebook friends said Chelsea will win the title this year. Yeah, not on that performance lol.

Re: Season 2019/2020 Football
Well the view from my new seat was a definite improvement on the last few years. Sloppy start, could have been 2-0 down before they got going but all round a decent performance and the 3 new signings all did very well.

A nice win in the end but l don't think its wise to draw any concrete conclusions just from one match.

Re: Season 2019/2020 Football
This Newcastle setup seems familiar. Hire a Championship manager. Spend ridiculous amounts of money and change the complexion of a team, get relegated. Hold up. Steve McClaren.
Mike Ashley couldn't get Rafa Benitez to stop telling it how it is and realised the power Rafa held. In their eyes he had to go and now we get to pay the price for it. Benitez launched another attack on the Newcastle board this morning.

Re: Season 2019/2020 Football
Back from the Arsenal game.
Defence still very dodgy.
Ceballos = awesome signing. Arsenal should really try hard to keep him at the club.
Pepe = also very promising
Attack is still very good. We have excellent strikers.

Re: Season 2019/2020 Football
This VAR thing, just doesn't work in football. Cricket, tennis yes, those games have breaks in play that allow for it. Footy is all about the fast constant pace, ref errors should just be accepted as part the of the game.
