Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news
ESPN+ (US) show a good selection of 1st and 2nd round - and all ties for 3rd round onwards.
But you'll never get all matches involving smaller clubs.
National League try and show all their's live but you'll find the occasional North or South fixture is unavailable. More have no commentrary.

Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news
The last game I saw on ITV was about on about a 15-20 second delay which is unusual for linear tv.
And ITV have crashed out of live sport to an ad break too often in the past - missing goals.

The BBC don't have adverts is true enough but they certainly make up for that with trailers advertising BBC programs. As for better pundits, don't agree at all. Alan Shearer, boring as hell. Lineker, over paid and another bore.

Sky & DAZN to share Anthony Joshua v Francis Ngannou
Sky Sports and DAZN will both air Anthony Joshua’s bout with Francis Ngannou on their pay-per-view services.
DAZN will continue to show the fight worldwide, but Sky Sports Box Office will also air it in the UK.

Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news
Those plucky streamers have swerved these rights too. I believe the predecessor competition rights were held by Sky Sports.
Quote:
TNT Sports has expanded its rugby portfolio by securing live rights to screen the HSBC SVNS, rugby sevens’ biggest annual competition worldwide, in the UK and Ireland on a two-year deal until the end of the 2025 season.
With three rounds of the 2023-24 series completed, the first broadcast of the revamped series on TNT Sports and discovery+ will be when the HSBC SVNS heads to Vancouver in western Canada on the weekend of 23-25 February.
Trojan Paillot, Senior Vice President, Sports Rights Acquisitions and Syndication, Warner Bros. Discovery Europe, said: “In a historic year for the sport, we’re pleased to further expand our huge and varied premium rugby offer for fans in the UK and Ireland.

Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news
I think we've discussed in another thread if the ESPN-Fox-WBD sports joint venture went against US competition rules. Looks like we're about to find out.
Quote:
Fubo files antitrust motion to halt Disney, FOX, Warner Bros streaming plan
Sports streaming company Fubo has filed an antitrust lawsuit against The Walt Disney Company, FOX Corp and Warner Bros. Discovery over plans to launch a joint streaming platform.
The motion filed in a New York Federal Court alleges Fubo is being forced to [licence] several dozen expensive, non-sports channels as a condition of licensing sports rights from the companies as part of a scheme to stifle competition.
“For decades, Defendants have leveraged their iron grip on sports content to extract billions of dollars in supra-competitive profits” by engaging in practices causing consumers to pay more for highly popular sports content and resulting in significant damages to both Fubo and its customers,” reads the Fubo complaint.
The complaint alleges that the autumn launch of the joint venture “steals Fubo’s playbook” and is only the latest example of the campaign.

...and talking of sports streaming apps, Apple has just launched a sports app.
Anyone who still thinks that the tech giants aren't serious about sports, think again.
First, it's stats, betting and minor rights, then they'll move their tanks into grabbing all the big stuff.

Virgin Media launches new way to watch football by offering DAZN channel for free
Beating Sky Sports to the line-up you'll now be able to tune into DAZN's FAST channel if you have a sport bundle from the provider.
Weeks after it added 100 extra channels to its nifty Virgin Media Stream device, the TV staples will now cover all matches streamed on DAZN's Women's Football. The UEFA Women's Champions League, Liga F, and the Saudi Women's Premier League are just a few pieces of coverage included.
And it won't cost fans an extra penny, as the provider absorbs the usual £9.99 subscription cost leaving you paying £0 to watch the extra live matches. That's if you pick a Virgin Media sports package to kick back, the new addition can be found on channel 554.

The thing is they can monetise these quite easily through the iPhone user base regardless of who actually broadcasts (and therefore ponies up billions for) games.
It could easily link to Sky Go, Now or Virgin Tv Go (or any other streaming app) to stream games picture in picture on your device seamlessly.

And where is DAZN Combat?
